Targeted. Personal. Exam-board specific.
At Lionheart, we believe students learn best when they feel understood. Our tutors are more than subject specialists — they are adults young people naturally want to be around.
We bring together the best of tradition — integrity, discipline, and mentorship — with the innovations of modern education: inclusive teaching for neurodiverse learners, evidence-led methods, and a focus on complete wellbeing and purpose.
Our approach shapes not only strong academic foundations, but the self-belief and intellectual agility that prepare students for life’s next chapters — at school, university, and beyond.

Each and every student that comes to Lionheart will have a unique learning goal. We excel at identifying areas of weakness, strengthening subject knowledge, and sharpening exam technique. Alongside this, we build the habits that matter most at GCSE and IGCSE level — from structured revision plans to confident essay writing and time management.
One-to-one tuition allows us to address specific areas of difficulty, resolve misconceptions, and rebuild confidence. Students leave each session with tools they can use independently — and the assurance that progress is being made.
Our tutors teach the skills that make the difference in exams: time management, structured answers, and familiarity with past papers. By the time exams arrive, students are not just prepared — they are calm, strategic, and confident.
For ambitious students aiming for top grades, our tutors go beyond the syllabus. We encourage deeper analysis, critical thinking, and subject extension, laying strong foundations for A Levels, the IB, and university entrance.
Many of our tutors have extensive experience working with students with special educational needs, including dyslexia, ADHD, and autism. The one-to-one format gives students the time, structure, and patience they need to thrive — while maintaining high expectations and genuine academic challenge.

Lionheart tutors are experienced in both pathways and will adapt tuition to your child’s specific syllabus.
This depends on your child’s goals and timeline. Some families choose weekly lessons throughout the academic year; others opt for short, intensive programmes in the run-up to exams. We’ll advise you after an initial consultation on what will work best.
